Highlights of 2025 at Rockfield Spirits
We have had an exciting year here at Rockfield Spirits and we wanted to share some of our highlights of 2025 with you.
From exciting new product launches and experiences to national recognition, community partnerships and a busy calendar of events, it’s been a year defined by growth, creativity and connection. Here’s a look back at some of the moments that made 2025 so special for us.
New Product Launches
Two exciting new gins joined the Rockfield family in 2025. In May, we launched Rockfield Blueberry Gin, a fragrant and lightly floral. Crafted to celebrate the natural sweetness of fresh blueberries. Shaped by feedback and ideas from our Gin School guests, this release was truly community-inspired and a very special one for us to share.
Just in time for summer, July welcomed our Tropical Gin. A vibrant, sunshine-filled spirit infused with coconut, pineapple and passion fruit. Smooth, juicy and bursting with tropical flavour, it’s more than just a flavoured gin, it’s a little escape in every glass and has quickly become a firm favourite since launch.
New Cocktail Making Classes
In August, we introduced our brand-new Cocktail Making Experience, giving guests the chance to shake, stir and sip their way through an unforgettable evening at the distillery. Led by our expert team, the experience begins with a welcome cocktail before exploring the story of cocktails, essential bar tools and hands-on techniques. Guests create and enjoy three different cocktails in a relaxed, lively setting — a brilliant addition to our experiences lineup and one we’ve love hosting.
With more dates already added in the new year, so book quickly as spaces are getting filled up.
Awards & Recognition
2025 has been a standout year for awards at Rockfield. Our Dry Gin received fantastic recognition throughout the year, winning Gold at the People’s Choice Awards in March, Silver at the London Spirit Awards in April, and later securing a coveted Great Taste Award in August, a real testament to its quality and consistency.
We were also proud to see our Raspberry & Rhubarb Gin take Gold at The Gin Guide Awards in May, celebrating its bold, balanced flavour and crowd-pleasing appeal.
We were incredibly proud to see our Tours and Experiences recognised with a TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Awardin 2025. This award reflects consistently excellent reviews from our visitors and highlights the experiences guests genuinely love. From distillery tours and tastings to hands-on experiences, it’s been a pleasure welcoming so many of you through our doors and sharing the Rockfield story.
Events & Festivals
2025 was another busy year of getting out and about, meeting new faces and sharing Rockfield Spirits at events across the region. We returned to much-loved favourites including Cardiff Foodies, the Forest Showcase, Ludlow Spring & Autumn Show, and Monmouth Show, where it was great to reconnect with familiar customers and fellow producers.
We were also excited to be part of several brand-new events in their very first year, including Beef Stock and Meadow Festival, alongside new additions such as The Drinks Village. These events gave us the chance to reach new audiences, pour our spirits in fresh settings and be part of some fantastic local celebrations.
Supporting local causes
Supporting local causes is something we truly care about at Rockfield, and 2025 is a year we’re incredibly proud of in that respect. Throughout the year, we were honoured to support the ELY Memorial Fund, donating prizes and hampers for charity events including the ELY Charity Ball at Brinsop Court. The charity’s work supporting families in Herefordshire affected by road collisions, while promoting young driver safety and awareness, is vitally important, and it’s been a privilege to be involved.
Alongside this, we were proud to take part in the Sue Parry Event in support of St Michael’s Hospice, as well as supporting many of our stockists with raffle prizes for their own chosen charities. Giving back to the community that supports us means a great deal to the whole Rockfield team.
A New Partnership
In 2025, we were proud to begin an exciting new partnership with James Botham. Sharing a genuine passion for community, local produce and quality craft spirits, James felt like a natural fit for Rockfield from the outset. His involvement marks the start of a collaboration built around shared values, with James supporting events, spending time at the distillery and getting involved in upcoming projects.
Looking Ahead
As we reflect on 2025, we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who’s visited the distillery, attended an event, taken part in an experience, supported a charity or simply enjoyed a bottle of Rockfield at home. Your continued support allows us to keep doing what we love, creating great spirits, meaningful experiences and celebrating our local community. We can’t wait to see what the next chapter brings.
